At Red Mills Pet, we're deeply committed to pet welfare and supporting our local community. We've had the privilege of collaborating with outstanding organisations around the country, all dedicated to pet care and rescue in Ireland.
Our Charity Partners
Throughout the year, we work with amazing charity partners across the country to help pets in need. We are so proud to be able to provide food and support to these charities who work so hard day in and day out, all year round.
Husky Rescue Ireland
Their dedication to rescuing and protecting dogs goes beyond borders, including Ukraine during the recent war. We're proud to support them with food for the huskies and other dogs in their care.
Irish Therapy Dogs
These well-trained dogs visit patients in care and rehabilitation clinics, bringing comfort and joy to the residents. The team at Irish Therapy Dogs give so much time and bring such dedication to this fantastic cause.
PAWS Animal Rescue
Specialising in retired greyhounds, the wonderful team at PAWS work tirelessly to rehabilitate and rehome various dogs. It’s such a pleasure to provide them with our Leader Red Mills range, and to work to provide support for this charity through the year.
Our Charity Project
In 2022, we launched our most significant charity project to date, and were pleased to continue this project in 2023. For the month of January, we proudly donated a meal to a dog in need for every purchase of our Red Mills pet food across the Republic of Ireland, thanks to our loyal customers. Previous charities who have benefited from the annual charity campaign.

The Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland
We are so proud to have a wonderful relationship with the amazing humans and dogs of the Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland. Irish Wolfhounds are one of the nine native breeds of Ireland, and Connolly’s Red Mills and the club have enjoyed a positive relationship for many years. We are so proud to sponsor their events with our Go Native dog food, and it’s always a joy to learn more about and to be able to sponsor these amazing animals.
Pups in the Park
Red Mills Pet have enjoyed four fabulous events with Pups in the Park, in both Dublin and Cork. Pups in the Park truly is the ultimate doggy day out, and it’s been our pleasure to come on board to become the main sponsors of the event through Leader Dog Food. This wonderful event brings together dogs and owners from all across Ireland with incredible displays, educational talks where owners can ask all the questions weighing on their minds, representation from hardworking pet charities all across Ireland, dog shows, dog walks, agility trials, and so much more. We’ve made amazing friends at these events, and are delighted that we’ve been able to work with Pups in the Park Pro MC and proud pawrent, Jake Carter, through some of our other events and outreach.
